Master in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) by ISEP, entered the ISEPBIM group in 2015 following the presented thesis under the theme “BIM Implementation Guide in Projects and Organizations”. Started his professional activity as a consultant for BIMMS, Building Information Modelling & Management Solutions, where he had the chance to oversee a number of implementation processes of the BIM methodology in the business scope and project scope. Was responsible for the development of applications, mainly for Revit (addins) and their integration in organizational processes.
Later embraced a new challenge in the project area where he joined the Structural Department of JFA Engenharia.
In this new area, he had the chance to develop his skills as a Structural Engineer and a designer. The knowledge about BIM previously acquired were, without a doubt, a surplus for his new role and allowed the execution of complex structural projects (concrete and metallic structures) resorting to BIM softwares like Tekla, and resorting to visual programming software like Rhino/Grasshopper.
Currently, he is a Structural Engineer for the english metalworking William Hare Lda, commited to design and structural analysis of metallic connections.
During this route, was also an author of some articles and trainer in the courses belonging to the ISEPBIM group.
